Central Bucca is 20 minutes north west of Coffs Harbour. Torrential rain dropped 375mm of rain on the 6th and 7th November, 2009. Coffs Harbour was declared a natural disaster area as a result of the flooding rains. It is the third major weather event to hit the area in 2009.
