After I made my list I hung this list up on my shower mirror and also on my refrigerator door. I wanted everyday to see my motivation for changing my behavior this helped considerably since quitting smoking is a decision one has to establish day by day. Before you stop smoking you have to presume there will be times when you will error but in the times past that I slipped, I just accepted failure and started smoking full steam ahead. This time if I slipped and bought a pack of cigarettes or smoked one I begged from a friend I allowed myself forgiveness for not being perfect and started right back up.

As soon as I saw the scales go up I made sure to go to the gym more and not to substitute eating with smoking. I also rewarded myself by pampering myself with anything I by and large would not do for myself. I can't say that I don't think about smoking from time to time and likely always will but I always tell myself that what you save is both money and health.
